About The Event
We planted the seed of a big idea-- to green our city with 100K trees.
And its growing across the island and region!
We are planting 20 trees with Alameda Recreation and Parks Department in the park formerly known as Jackson Park.
100K Trees for Humanity will collaborate with ARPD in this inaugural tree planting of 20 new healthy trees.
Volunteer registration is now closed to help in the actual planting of the trees. No drop ins are allowed.
ARPD will be following all Alameda County Public Health Department guidelines to keep this event COVID-19 safe. We will be providing prepackaged snacks and drinks at the event.

We are planting 10K trees on Earth Day 2020 across Alameda. Planting more trees helps clean the air, reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, restore natural habitat for fauna, aviary and insects, and increase our city's carbon sequestration capacity to reach our 2030 carbon reduction goals.
